Transport for London (TfL) announces a new cultural partnership with the British Museum, offering customers 2-for-1 entry to the critically acclaimed exhibition, Hawaiʻi: a kingdom crossing oceans.

Customers who travel to the museum using the TfL network can take advantage of the offer until 11 May, saving up to £18 on a standard adult ticket. This new partnership aims to encourage Londoners and visitors to use sustainable public transport to explore the capital’s world-class cultural offerings.

Hawaiʻi: a kingdom crossing oceans explores the complex and enduring relationship between the Hawaiian and British nations. Commemorating 200 years since the historic royal visit of King Liholiho and Queen Kamāmalu to London, the exhibition features over 150 objects, including feathered cloaks, shark-toothed weapons, and contemporary Native Hawaiian art.

The offer is valid for up to three full-price tickets and three free tickets within a single transaction. Customers can redeem the offer either online via britishmuseum.org/hawaii by entering offer code HAWTFL24 before selecting their exhibition visit date, or in person by visiting the ticket desk at the British Museum. One person from each party must show proof of travel via the free TfL Go app. Alternatively, a TfL Oyster photocard clearly showing a name and photo is also acceptable. Proof of travel must be presented upon entry to the exhibition.

Emma Strain, Customer Director at TfL, said: "We are delighted to partner with one of the UK’s most popular attractions to offer our customers this fantastic 2-for-1 offer at the British Museum. London’s cultural scene is one of the best in the world, and by using the TfL network, customers can save money on entry to many of London’s top attractions. We hope our customers enjoy this exhibition and check out our website for many more offers."

TfL is renewing its ongoing partnership with HMS Belfast until March 2027. The offer allows two entry tickets for HMS Belfast to be purchased for the price of one, and is available for up to five full-price tickets and five free tickets within the one transaction.

Customers can also discover the wonders of astronomy at the Royal Observatory and experience one of the most important historic scientific sites in the world, with 2-for-1 entry tickets until 31 March. TfL's 2-for-1 entry offer to Historic Royal Palaces, including Kensington Palace, the Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace, is also still available and runs until 18 December.
